Correctional Cell Lighting Maximum Security Starts with the Right Light
Cells present one of the most demanding lighting environments in a correctional facility. Because inmates spend significant time in cells with limited supervision, luminaires must withstand severe physical abuse, repeated tampering attempts, and efforts to gain unauthorized access or conceal contraband.
Correctional luminaires must be engineered to perform in the highest-security environments, providing durable, reliable illumination while maintaining the safety and security of inmates, staff, and facilities. Specify fixtures that offer a choice of housing gauges, fully recessed fasteners, irretrievable blade traps, and impact-resistant lensing materials.
Mighty Mac® CC Hinged Clamshell Corner Mount
Engineered to help reduce contraband concealment opportunities, the Mighty Mac CC pairs a hinged clamshell design with robust construction and a serviceable LED platform. Available in 2' and 4' lengths with BIOS SkyBlue™, Indigo-Clean®, and Tunable White technologies.
Tunable White Technology Adaptive Lighting for Modern Facilities
Tunable White Technology allows correctional facilities to adjust light color and intensity throughout the day to support changing schedules, activities, and operational needs. By mimicking the progression of natural daylight, tunable white lighting can support circadian‑focused lighting strategies helping foster a more settled environment, and providing greater flexibility than static lighting solutions.
